SCIENCE CAN BE FUN : DIY Coca-cola slushy :3

Have you ever had a random craving for a cool beverages but you are too lazy to go to the store? Well, how about making your own soda slushy with the help of SCIENCE :D!

If we talk about science, you must be thinking "NO! ... NO!" but following these simple steps, you will get instant slushy in Water bending style~. The steps are all inspired by pressure and temperature theorem and here is the how to created by a youtuber, Kingofrandom. I hope with this post it will change your perspective in science :D

What you need:
  • A room temperature soda
  • A freezer

Steps:
  1. Take your soda and shake it violently.
  2. Put your soda into the freezer for approximately 3 HOURS 15 MINUTES!
  3. After the designated time over, take out your soda and slightly release the cap and turn it upside down.
  4. Pour the soda and enjoy :D

HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you shake your soda, the pressure will build up inside the bottle. When you freeze it for 3 hours and 15 minutes, the temperature of the soda is in the state of liquid and solid, calculated from the freezing point. The liquid is very cool that in this stage it wanted to change to ice but it just need a little push. When you release the pressure and turn it upside down, the molecules collided and change into ice.

CONCLUSION?
Science is everywhere. All the things we do and create can be made with science. Most of us will think that science is just one of those hard subjects but if you know how to use it well, we can have fun! Using our ideas with the support of science, we can invent something new and help other people to have more fun. The water-bending slushy is just one of the examples of the application of science but we can create more. For more ideas, please go click this Kingofrandom
